I'll take one Bumbag, please!

Make fun all you want, but I am a fanny pack fan. No, I'm not ballsy enough to wear one on the regular. However, I do take full advantage of every mildly acceptable opportunity to sport a bum bag. I just really don't like carrying a purse, and seriously, they are just so handy!

Amidst a stroll through one of my favorite boutiques (The Beehive in Manhattan Beach) last week, I spotted something and almost couldn't believe my eyes. No joke, it was a fanny pack boombox. Yep, a FANNY PACK BOOMBOX. It is TWO of my favorite things in the whole world combined, music and fannies!

This company, FYDELITY, has not only come up with the most radical products, but the prices are super reasonable. Check it out...

This is the one I bought (and am VERY excited to bring out to my Bachelorette Party this weekend), it's their "Le Boom Box Bumbag". I got the black one, even though I was tempted to go even more obnoxious and get the gold one

Also, check out this sweet cooler

Awesome for the beach this summer!! You just plug your ipod in and go. Booyahkahshah!

Cosmetics For Your Feet

Been super bogged down with work, wedding stuff and photography, so I haven't had time to blog much. HOWEVER, I HAD to sneak in a quickie about these flip flops I'm in love with because I just got an email that they are back in stock with more cute colors to choose from. I have 3 pair already, most of which I had to sit on a wait list for, but they ended up being soooooooooo worth it.

I am super picky when it comes to flip flops. The straps have to be thin and feminine, the soles can't be too heavy and the color has to be just right. So, when I found these, it was love at first sight.

This company is called TKEES and their motto is "Cosmetics For Your Feet"(so cute). I love everything about this company, but most importantly, their flip flops are super comfortable.

The don't have an online store up yet but they list where you can buy them on their website. I order mine from Singer 22 because they usually have the best variety of colors and availability.

I have the foundation color, "Sun Kissed"...

The lipstick color, "Candy Apple"...

And, the shadow color, "Frosty Grey".

But of course, now I'm crushing on all their new colors!! I know the price is a little steep for flip flops, but to me, the perfect pair of flip flops is very similar to the perfect pair of jeans... They make you look good, they make you feel good and you will wear them forever!

Maxi Mini

I've been DYING to put together a blog dedicated to Maxi dresses, but I have been SUPER busy lately!! So, in efforts to get a quick fix, I want to share a dress I've been obsessing over for MONTHS. Check out this beaut, the Blu Moon Pharaoh Dress. Personally, I love the black, but all of them are uber cute!

Of course, now I have to throw in one more. Also by Blu Moon, this is the appropriately named, "Summer Lovin' Ruffle Maxi" which is insanely sexy for summer time!

You can pre-order the black here.
You're welome. :)

Smitten for Stripes

Always been a fan of stripes, but this Spring, Chevron stripes have zig-zagged straight into my heart! You can put them on anything and it's insta-cute. Whether it's clothing, accessories, furniture, dishes or even a wall, they are just so fun!
I wish I had more places to wear dresses like this. Laura Sanchez wore this amazing chevron-stripe satin-backed crepe dress with all the frilly ruffles around the hemline by designer Vicky Martin Barrocal, to the Marie Claire Prix De La Moda Awards in 2010.

On a more casual level, I posted this dress in my previous blog, True Ruffle Love, and I am kind of obsessed. Perhaps it was my inspiration for this entire blog entry? Either way, fancy stripes make me happy!

Flower Girl Fashion Fiasco

People always talk about how stressful planning a wedding is, but I happen to enjoy "planning" so I haven't found it to be the burden everyone talks about. That is, until I started researching Flower Girl dresses. Who knew there would be such a shortage of adorable, stylish, fairly priced, NOT cheesy Flower Girl dresses out there!? I will gladly design some if someone wanted to provide funding! Sheesh, what a head ache though.

Our wedding colors are yellow and grey, and since our bridal party will be in grey, I thought my niece would look super cute in a sweet pale yellow, ruffly number. I assumed there would be tons to choose from, especially when Spring time rolled around... Yeah, well, no such luck. Finally, after WEEKS of searching EVERYWHERE, I moved onto whites and creams and came up with a handful of faves that I wanted to share, in hopes of saving you (or someone you know) all the time and effort I put into my search. Even if I end up helping just one person, it will all be worth it!

To start, I want to give Chasing Fireflies a shout out because they have the best selection BY FAR.
